     about me

hi folks! my name is reagan. i am fifteen and i live in a small town in illinois. i thought this blog would be something fun to do because, why not lol. yes, i know there are no capital letters because that’s kind of my signature thing- plus it looks cute, *wink*. so this is going to be my introduction, if you will, to this site. so here's a few things to know about me...

i love thrifting.

living in a small town in illinois is really difficult when you are really isolated from everything good/trendy. like, for instance, the closest chick-fil-a is forty minutes away, thanks to our lucky placement, not to far from st louis. therefore, due to our location, most everything we do is in st louis. one of things we like to do there is thrifting. my mom and i discovered this really neat type of goodwill, known as a goodwill outlet. it's like where all the things that haven't sold at surrounding goodwill's go to to be sold for a much cheaper cost. the biggest differences between normal goodwills and goodwill outlets are, at goodwill outlets everything is in big bins and you pay by the weight of your cart instead of the price of each item. it's so much fun! we go as often as possible. 

major musical nerd right here folks. 

yep. you heard me correctly. i have a big problem lol. some of my favorites include dear evan hansen (we stan ben platt), hamilton (LINNNN), mean girls, wicked, waitress, and newsies, but my all time favorite is heathers the musical. you know, the one with the three popular girls named heather where the school almost blows up. that’s the one lol. i have a huge obsession with barrett wilbert weed, the actress who stars in heathers as the icon that is veronica sawyer and is currently in mean girls on broadway as the icon janis sarkisian. i literally have a whole pinterest board full of every instagram story she has posted for over a year. what can i say, i have a problem. last february i was fortunate enough to be able to go see her in mean girls in new york with my mom. it was unreal! some other theater-y things about me--  i love to watch katherine steele (shout out to the theater thursday fam/cult) and amy lovatt’s videos! back to the barrett talk, i run a tumblr about what i call the holy trinity, barrett, mean girls, and heathers, with over a thousand followers! wowza, am i right! however, lately i’ve been less active on that due to the buzz over mean girls going down. i also have a bootleg collection *wink wink*. email me if interested and i’ll give you deets ;)

i’m very “tech-y”?

so, when you think of “tech-y” you think of programming and things like that, well that’s not what i mean. i am more techy in a trendy way lol. i love editing instagram photos using pinpics! it is so much fun and looks great on a vsco and insta. i also make videos with my friend, hope. we take my go pro places and video in a vlog style and then i edit them at later dates. however, at the moment we aren’t uploading them to youtube. we just keep them as memories of our friendship. i also love creating google slide presentations for assignments at school. it is literally so satisfying lol.

i love photography.

in fifth grade i asked for a camera for christmas. since then, i have developed a love for capturing priceless moments in a click of a camera. i love taking pictures of family, nature, and things/places that mean a lot to me. i take my camera EVERYWHERE. it’s my go to boredom buster. 

city girl at heart.

as i mentioned earlier, i live in an isolated farm town in illinois. however, my family and i have taken trips to chicago every november since i can remember. chicago has grown very dear to my heart. i’ve always ached for the city. the speed of chicago is so refreshing from our little lifestyle. going to nyc this february has only intensified my love for being in the city. new york is like chicago but even more centralized if you know what i mean. like, there’s so much to do in chicago, as of dining and entertainment, but there’s even more in new york. not to mention the broadway hype in new york is IN. CRED. A. BLE. like times square-- i see you mean girls advertisement! not to mention, that’s where all of the actors/actresses actually live!
